Baby bottle - SpecialNeeds
The SpecialNeeds bottle is designed for babies who are unable to create a vacuum due to a neurological syndrome or disorder, or who have a cleft lip and palate. It can be combined with two teat sizes.
The SpecialNeeds bottle works in such a way that, the bottle which cannot create a vacuum to extract the milk, opts à the place for compression. The anti-reflux valve prevents air from entering the teat. With the slit mechanism, the carer can easily control the milk flow.
The mark on the tine helps the carer to determine the correct position (three different bits). The slot mechanism on the teat reacts to suction forces and closes completely when the patient pauses. The anti-reflux valve prevents air from entering the hose.
The size of the SpecialNeeds feeding bottle is standard. If the baby's oral cavity is small, the teat can be replaced with a smaller SpecialNeeds Mini teat.
The SpecialNeeds teat is a standard size.
The SpecialNeeds bottle can be reused after being cleaned according to the instructions for use.
- It promotes oral feeding in babies.
- It generates a variable amount of milk, which can be re-circulated according to the baby's ability and effort.
- It reacts even to very weak feeding efforts.
- It is suitable for babies unable to exert suction force.
