Traditionally rooted in Mexican culture, piñatas are now a popular and fun activity all over the world. After being filled with sweets or other small treats, they are suspended from a rope and the children (who are usually blindfolded) swing on the piñata with the help of a stick. When the piñata breaks, its contents are scattered across the floor and everyone tries to collect as many sweets as possible!

This piñata is shaped like a pirate ship, with a Jolly Roger flag.
